Easter at Marou 2013

Easter can be vicious in SW France at Easter. Cold and wet with intermittent and freezing squalls. I do often wonder why we keep a place here when so much of our time is spent working in the garden in inhuman conditions. But if on those rare occasions the sun shines - suddenly it's the best place on earth. Meanwhile we have a log fire and books. Not bad.

We went to the brocante at Cazals yesterday and whilst I didn't buy much - a yellow jug and a small brass folding ruler - I did enjoy walking round looking at everything:

I bought down an elegant and expensive Japanese clothes rail, to replace the dull, functional one from IKEA that we've had for 12 years.
