Andalusia Spring 2013


Last Spring - 2013 - we went to Andalusia with Sasha and Mike. This was our first stop, Ronda:



We stayed in Jerez for a few nights and went to the fiesta. It was gorgeous - first of all the lights:
And then the women in their costumes. I stopped so many to ask if I could take their photos and this is a small sample:

 The Mesquite - started life as a mosque then a catholic church was built in the middle. This is part of the mosque, 65 beautiful columns:


 Cordoba - easy riding on a horse in the  middle of a big city apparently:

 We came across these bulls, being bred for fighting, in the middle of nowhere. Apparently they don't see humans until they're taken to the bullring.
