Anti-depressants and dogs

Now I have to think, because it's so long since I wrote anything on this. I do know that shortly after my last entry I admitted I was depressed and started taking anti-depressants. Citalopram - just 10mg a day. And they worked. I am now a functioning human being again. Albeit with slightly flattened emotions, but that's fine by me.

Oh, and I got the dog. Because I thought that would make me feel happy. That was before I realised I was merely depressed and that it could be cured. But now I have a dog. And a woman on the bus today assured me that her miniature poodle had lived until it was 22. By then I will be 92...

Scooter is funny. And affectionate. And bright. And I do get taken out for long walks every day so I immediately lost about 7lbs.

Anyway, this is how she looked at 5 months old. She's 7 months now.
