Nipples on legs

Since this blog is for me I've decided it's no holds barred. Sometimes. So any snoopers - you have been warned..

The other afternoon, lounging by the pool reading, I felt I was being bitten all over my legs. But when I looked there was nothing there. A said that he'd felt it too, so I dashed indoors and lathered repellent all over. Too late. The next day I awoke to about 15 huge bites on my lower legs. The next day they were worse, and last night I was awake most of it due to the itching of said bites.

Time for action. Down to the local chemist (which used to be a frightening experience when it was run by two fierce sisters, but now a little friendlier) where I spent 25€ on a suction pump and some cortisone ointment. The suction pump looked like this:

But of course said excursion to the local pharmacy meant I felt I had to wear shorts. In public. Something I've managed to avoid for about 15 years. And as I had to take the dog into the shop I was aware of her being calf height, thus drawing the queue behind me to my revolting calves. Not that any of them had anything to boast about - one man smelt of piss and another just looked past it. So I was a babe. 

Anyway, shot home and, as you can see, I operated on my legs for quite a while. Happily and, I thought, productively. Then smeared cortisone cream all over them and I think they're better. I thought I could see the poison emerging in the thingy and it was quite satisfying. Particularly if it really does work.
